| Here is our "Turn and Face" Model in Turning Mode (left) and in facing mode (right) . With this model once you set the facing point to center then by design, the turning point is preset to the right turning height. Below is our other two tools that we offer for this size machine. First is a -5 degree right hand tool for cutting a square shoulder to the chuck and next is our -5 degree left hand tool for a square shoulder to the tailstock. The standard Prazi lathe uses what we call the 3/8" 222 series lathe tools. Our lathe tools use the TNMG-222 six point double sided indexable carbide insert that regularly sells for under a dollar each. For the past year "Travers Tool co." has had the best price at $.74 each for the 222 series insert and $.86 for the 322 series insert. ($25.00 min. total purchase) |
